FUE Hair Transplant Method History

FUE hair transplantation method entered in the health literature in 2002. FUE  is the abbreviation of Follicular Unit Extraction, is a non-incision, seamless and no-trace hair transplantation method. These are all important advantages especially for the patients comfort. Among the people who wants to have hair transplantation, it continues to be the most frequently asked method.

The follicular unit (in which the hair follicle grows) was added to literature in 1990. Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) was used to remove a 15-20 cm from the nape and the roots which were collected for the area of hair transplantation. As a result of this method, on the back side of the neck remained the mark. It was also difficult for the donor area to recover it. This method, which developed further, was updated as FUE only with removal of follicular units. In this method, there are no cuts, stitches and no scars. The removal of hair follicles with tiny bumps entered in history as an innovation for hair transplantation.
